"Respect" implies consensual and reasonable rules, but when dealing with authority, it means total obedience.
"Love" implies no countering or arguing! Otherwise, it signals disliking or hatred!
"Hope" implies that hope even has value! In fact, it's action, not hopeful thinking, that gets things done and/or changed! As such, this is yet another form of gaslighting to prevent them from being called out for making children sad! Stoicism may be a better option.
