Thinking, saying, and caring in a way that is more logical towards others, not much
about emotion.
Actually trying to psychologically understand the other person instead
of just feeling affectionate towards them.
Cognitive empathy is rare… because emotions wire human beings in Darwinism, and
abstract ideas are relatively new in comparison. Most people actually
don’t like using their logic in daily life, as it drains energy, and the
lack of it will cause cognitive fatigue. Consumption of a precious
resource, in socialization, is seen as an antithesis of what socializing
is supposed to be, like doing fun activities together and having a
satisfying time, not a demanding one, so unfortunately, I think this is
rarely seen.
