Don’t make others look down on you -> Don’t say sorry unless
you’re actually (potentially) guilty.
It doesn’t actually benefit. It lowers the value of a sorry.
You can thank them instead if you’re not guilty.
Humans actually get more respect by others if they are powerful. Look,
even world leaders almost never unsarcastically say sorry
themselves.
