Foward thinking

This is where you think about the future and how equipped you will be to survive it. This can work to a limited extent; however, in reality, it's deeply illogical to do this too much, and it is the fallacy that you used your current standards to evaluate something way in the future. This is because you have no idea what the future self will be. This can cause a lot of stress! Life is not a game of perfect information!

For instance, someone complains that I wouldn't survive high school in primary school and thus won't survive a job in the future, or even get through high school.

Babies cannot walk. "How can they function in society?"
Thus, how can a young boy "get a job"?
"You won't get a job like this."
It's just "not yet."
That's already a given. I think it's pretty obvious now how irrational that is to do the above. Rather, plans often change over time. I'm not against planning. I'm only against it when it's way too far away from the point of being close to impractical, in which case other things can be done.
