Copy-paste saves so much time. Ctrl F is great too for searching. Vim has a steep learning curve, but I don't understand. It varies.
The problem is hindsight, and the future being invisible: you don't actually know. So the Stoics tell u not to worry! Though the savior is that most I'd learnt during "dead time," so no big consequence. Also, it's where ultra many functioned for software, or within software itself, uses just a bit of time, but honestly it's a bit short-term because you won't repeat the same mistake again (I hope).
