Liars

I hate them. I can’t stop them. I will just ignore them. It's too scary if I cannot tell other people are lying, truthful, or "trying to scare" (like teachers suggesting detentions)
Eg. Donald Trump lying about Epstein Files

Gentle lies

Sometimes there is the idea of softening. However, this is rather just a measure. Unless it actively distorts the picture, I will accept it as a nature of communication.

When hard to tell

It's scary if I cannot tell other people are lying, truthful, or "trying to scare". As such gentle lies might not be the greatest. A method might be to simply ask!
