Technically, all humans are a burden. Burden in this context means resource consumption. Food and oxygen, for instance. But that doesn’t mean that humans will overcome the biological will to live anytime soon. And it’s not like they are at risk of extinction, as food is mass-produced in factories and oxygen is renewed by plants. Still, isn't it better to be alive!
