Ideally, one could ingest food and drink when you need to, not at
specified times of day.
Discomfort needs to be solved. In fact, I don’t wanna be in bed having
my mouth drying up like a potato chip…
Pragmatism
again: food is supposed to fill up appetite, not be a fixed-time
requirement!
In business terms, it's like just-in-time processing.
In reality, though, families usually cannot accommodate the fact that
each person's hunger times are different. (Other than snacks)
But one problem is that restaurants are usually closed at 3 AM. It’s due
to their pragmatism too: operation costs are too high for the little
demand.
