Blaming them for not having a life outside of school is too subjective. Videogames can be an enjoyable life. Demanding something from free time makes it not free.

In fact the sheer act of being alive after school is already pretty good. Most would go to sleep exhausted with their morning creativity ruined.

Summer holiday

Maladaptive evolution: when the person adapts so hard to being in school, it might not know what it can do out of it, because if he or she had too mcuh of an ambitious project he or she would have his or her focus split or be called for being distracted - 2 months might not be enough to adapt.

New thought: Blame-shifting

It is a peak deflection: Blaming someone for their lack of life or meaning outside of school. "If school doesn't give meaning you can make your own!" This ignores the fact that morning creativity, energy is already ruined and there often is way too much pressure to do things like studying or homework - so by the time the urgent'' things are done there is very littleintrinsically important'' that the person can enjoy life of. What a shame. Plus it shifts blame to the sufferer, ignoring that in the lowest energy levels of the day even tasks that used to be fun or intrinsically valuable are less favorable (only desire for sleep increases).
