It's at least more advanced than the NES, yet people even made games on the NES. Even a simple programming language can make complex stuff.
Heck, the logic is the same; it's just the visuals that are a bit different (and in an era of user-friendliness, perhaps it's even beneficial! Few code in assembly language)
