Physical and mental health are linked.
When your brain is bad, you actually get more sick.
When sick, the brain actually gets tired. More irritable.
Thus I hope sicknesses heal, and pragmatically “DEAL WITH IT” (endure
until solved, or if you have the money, see a doctor.) Minimize the
potential harm of the illness.
Physiology has its conflicts with the brain too, because even though the
brain is associated with thinking, it uses up almost all the energy, and
fighting illnesses use from that same energy pool (scientifically
questionable, but just assume this for now)
Humans cannot overcome their physical illnesses by themselves.
But it is philosophically not too necessary to live well - even great
people get sick.
This is the origin of the danger of: feeling bad about being sick
causing problems. Luckily the physical sickness usually still improves
over time.
