The fall of humanityOnce, it was said that all humans were content. They would all be independent and caring at the same time. Despite how little they had, They could do things that genuinely led to satisfaction and purpose in life. Looking at the situation right now And, given the circumstances, I could never feel good.
Over time, the world changed for the worse. The nature of Humanity fell off a cliff. Into an abyss of hell. A burning world, full of, Uncountable evil, pain, tears. It was better when it was straightforward. I could do nothing about it.
Atrociously, advancements led to the fall. The technology that we do not know how to use, The outpacing of humanity’s moral development. Soon, machines will think even more than you and I, Yet they can do it in a fraction of a time. It was better when humans actually could contribute with their brains and souls. I could not undo it.
The evil got more terroristic too. Wars between Russia, Ukraine, Korea, Rise in gun violence in America, Destruction of trees and animal habitats by ignorants, Worse of all, nuclear weapons. It was better when no objects could instantly end the lives of innocent human beings. I could not stop having nightmares.
The sense of community gets worse. These days, we rarely have physical fun with each other. Many people are simply apathetic towards others, Not caring about what happens to them. We doubt the importance and trust of other people, It was better when culture focused on building mutual respect and support. I could never compete in an uphill battle by myself.
The feelings of purpose fade away. Increased unhealthy competition between people. The lack of new opportunities in a linear world, The internal feelings of incompetence and incompleteness. Nobody even knows the meaning of life anymore. It was better when philosophers believed that there was a goal in life. I could never figure out my meaning.
The connection to nature disappears. Increased deforestation leads to fewer trees. Nobody will feel good in a barrel wasteland. Thus, they stay at home with technology. We say it’s beautiful, yet nobody ever appreciates it. It was better when we gave appreciation to plants too. I could not comprehend why we suddenly neglected to credit their existence for oxygen production.
Now the joys of all journeys all vanish all too gradually. Overly harsh parents reduce our sense of dignity, The constant pressure to earn money in the future, A high level of untreatable depression draining away, All leads to the complete elimination of happiness in life. It was better when there were moments of slight delight and triumph. I could not ever figure out a solution to the fall of humanity.
