Benefits are more freedom! Less influence! More time with self.
Drawbacks are against darwinism! Humans may not gain new perspectives;
there is an argument of lack of correction, but others probably know
barely anything about you...
Rather, this is likely not plausible; u can't live a farmer's
lifestyle with how expensive land is now; you probably have to work in a
company.
There is a very real case of stuff like this (though against consent):
Life in prison.
It's so dangerous that even terminal prisoners sentenced to life must
not be isolated forever
Time distortion can occur too. Perception completely diluted!
So with this, some level of conformity must happen by design. Socialization!
A unique nature, by its name, is certainly unique, but not in a good way, so distorted that normal life is almost impossible. With almost no pragmatism or social acceptance, it gets thrown out the window!
