Ontology

The branch of metaphysics dealing with the nature of being (existence). Some questions from ontology include: What even is real? What if I’m in a dream all along and will never know? And pragmatically does it even matter if the universe is fake, as long as you subjectively won't know about it?
Even if my entire life was a lie and a dream, I am making decisions based on what I know (determinism). I know not the nature of reality. Still can absurdly be happy.

In fact, the heat death suggests that all life lasts a limited amount of time.

George Berkeley's argument

He argues that the world is immaterial, and such a belief is also known as subjective idealism, where objects don’t actually exist. Idealism, though, I don’t think it’s true; it’s just a hallucination. It even contradicts physics. However, the fascinating thing is that, in reality, I have no way to know! So it could be true.
