Power and fame vs. notbeing that powerful and not being targeted
Linked to conformity vs. individuality. But this time more extreme!
-If I am powerful, I have the power to influence people or affect
politics.
-I can shapeshift the law!
-Can change others to act how I like, given certain boundaries.
-At least someone would read my wiki...
-But I may get assassinated like Trump (who has something wrong with his
brain, but still I don't like to get murdered.)
___
-I would rather live my life like a quiet Monk. You may be enraged at
the news. But see how little it actually affects normal life. The
supermajority of life, it won't matter.
-Solution is fine. Solution reduces the stakes of failure and looking
ugly
-There is less incentive for others to harm "underrated" people. Yes,
there is the converse that famous people get helped, but they don't
really need the help. The risk-reward of being targeted for both good
and bad is not worth it for rich people.
-What's the point of fame anyways? Trump has to appoint guards. Sounds
like a great trade-off when I was young, but this is miserable! Little
freedom! Little privacy!
-Some people only get famous when they are dead, and will not experience
it. In that case it's neutral.
-PR management is nightmarish for an autistic kid like me
-What's the point of manipulation? What's the point of influence if
barely anyone would send messages back or tell me meaningful things?

Power paradox? The more power, the more likely an assassination
occurs.
