Where one pushes a rock just for it to fall as it reaches the top. A repetitive metaphor for life itself, especially with hustle culture and how life at work is. Yet he keeps doing it. Commonly represents Absurdism, but can also evoke feelings of Nihilism. Pushing it for no reason... even when not known... just like how schools do so - but schools have an extra component called FORCE!
Honestly life is doing stuff! Over and over, it can be breathing, it can be eating, it can be innovating. But then, otherwise it's nothingness. Which one sounds more attractive? However, it indeed is a truism that there is work done to survive, like getting money to buy food, until people die. By definition, all organisms live until they die, though... and so will YOU!
Sisyphus sits in class every day, wondering about the day he can
leave and annihilate the examination system by spaced repetition apps, which itself is
another Sisyphus of memory maintenance that seems to be absurd: Abstract concepts at schools
do not have much benefit to survival.
You could imagine that's happy. But it's not. It's toxic
positivity: rather, if you are in it, I have great empathy for you,
very few make it alive without significant mental health issues.
That is pragmatically hard, because of coercion. Rather, imagine Sisyphus
detached. Then
he would feel less pain for a system he didn't cause.
