Dislike

Negative affect towards someone or something

Dislike (as an emotion towards other humans)

Actually, one of the most harmful emotions to possess affects the way we act…
Dislike as motivation =is inconsistent and causes bias
Dislike is probably harmful to both the holder and the receiver.
==What is the opposite of dislike?== Forgiveness? Not exactly, it opens the door back to stupid behavior again, and it's a loop that can cause even more dislike

Because forgiveness is usually driven by guilt (an emotion), and emotional logic is usually strange.

Acceptance? I guess this is more accurate

see them with a neutral mind, seeing them for who they are, being judgemental without a reaction (or calling them out)

Think clearly, and it's because trying hard to reverse dislike actually signals desperation.
Because in the end, people usually do close to the best they can within the confines of the rules and the nature of humans themselves, while also considering time and energy depletion…

However, there is one key: If they get it, this could alter their behavior too. It is clearly visible, for instance, ignoring a person, and then they feel pity, so they stop disturbing me. This goes both ways, though. Do not be reliant on dislike; if it somehow changes… still, if the cycle can be seen, it should be rejected without rude words, etc.

Why do people dislike bluntness/logic?

They feel attacked. And their brains go into danger mode. Also, logic takes time, and in direct conversation people feel like silence is creepy (time thinking). Even teachers misinterpret direct “feedback” as an attack…
