Studying the relationship between God and Evil attempting to resolve why Evil can exist with God. See: Problem of evil

Arguments for

1: There would be no “good” without “evil” because good needs something to be compared against, so if everything was good, nothing is particularly good.
2: By living through evil, it builds more goodness in the end for humans, as compared to the old times, they keep getting better and better, for instance, with new technology! 3. God allows free will, because choice means not only being forced to a linear path to the best one. Without choice, there really is no moral judgments, which links back to Argument #1!

Arguments against

1: The traits of a God being 100% perfect might be an over-exaggeration, as there are limits that even he cannot cross!
2: Natural disasters are a pretty big problem, yet God has done nothing.
3: No theodicy can explain why the innocent get tortured by evil. This is the just-world fallacy!
