The force that prevents actions like suicide, or ones that cause death, for example running away from danger, continuting to breathe, eat, and sleep... It is one of Arthur Schopenhauer's ideas.
Some say that it's societal. Humans are pretty much conditioned to
think that life has value, and that they have "potential". However,
there are people who are very depressed yet still want a better life
(meaning they want to live in a better state, i.e. they still want to
live.)
Some others also say that it's because life has "meaning", but there are
still nihilists so it can't be totally true.
However, I would consider it biological, more specifically,
evolutionary. Because otherwise biologically we would be one of the
trillions of species, or failed mutations or evolutions of them that
died to the urge of wanting to live not being strong enough, like the
many species we simply do not know much about, or even know anything
about at all.
This links science too!
Because my synapses are firing, why? ⇌ Because I am alive, why?
(Biology)
The state of living is the state of any body with the will to
live. Consciousness is needed.
This is the reason for me surviving.
So basic, yet so complicated to understand for some…
Mass > 0… Duh! (Physics)
The body is mostly hydrogen, carbon, duh!! It has a mix of matter that
is typical of a human!! (Chemistry) maintaining homeostasis
(biology)
Just use science to prove existence!!!!! It destroys all
counterarguments for non-existence!!!
-> Survival is the Default State within thermodynamics. (Physics +
Chemistry).
