Reason to learn

The reason to learn! I can deduce this! Unlike most other stuff, it actually does impact the human life itself greatly. It’s over ten years of hard work and unpaid labour for the chance of getting money back (employement).

Studying leads to higher chance of good exam results, which leads to higher chance of university acceptance (or higher quality one) due to good grades.

With a university degree (with potentially good grades as a bonus), it increases the chance of getting a job (most high salary jobs are locked behind at least a university degree).

With a job, a person can earn money and thus contribute to their own survival.

It sounds nihilistic but it's true I think...

A recent development

I was informed by a scientist that learning drive is very important, as people can learn how to play videogames if there are given much better methods suited to the human brain, but somehow the education system and coercion sabotage this.

Other learning methods?
