1. Attacks on hedonism: the fundamental nature of school forces you to do what you don't like, usually stuff imposed by others: homework and exams, which bring about intense displeasure.
2. Attacks on darwinism too: We have not evolved to be this restricted in freedom - if ever! Forced school is a very recent invention that should hopefully go out soon (possibly if we eradicate the system as a whole)
3. Machiavellianism: They use its exact tactics, like teachers not flinching, using selective vocabulary (like "discipline" to get you to obey literally every order) - school is literally the Dark Triad. Because no good triad forces you to do things you don't want. Authority lying about how collaboration is needed in a zero-sum environment, clashing with the exam nature, pretending rest does not exist by giving lots of work, and of course, they show no remorse :) This causes ALL to have cognitive dissonance, as rest is punished with guilt and work is punished with pain. Additionally, just like with the Milgram electric shock experiment where a man was shocked for failing learning tasks, even when it is inhumane that the scientists zap the man, when told nothing can be done, blame shifts to the sufferer slowly for "lack of motivation", or "lack of discipline" or "lack of learning ability" even when the only thing that you need to know is that causing pain is inhumane. Nobody is happy :)
4. Pessimism: In such a situation, you certainly would be depressed! With such workloads and restrictions on any sort of human activity whatsoever (including drinking water and peeing) you get really sad!
5. Fatalism: This is when you know that you cannot change the nature of the school system itself... It will exist by recursion - the outliers get blamed, and everyone shifts back to the Prussian model.
6. Depressive realism: In fact, though school may call you depressed, I would praise you for not trying to think the world is just. There is the dark world of schooling, after all.
7. Stoicism: In light of this, you may discover the art of Marcus Aurelius - not to assign virtue/worth to the uncontrollable - which is basically what other people do - those people who torture you every day - they may not matter in the end!
8. Buddhism (as a philosophy): As a result, you learn breathing techniques and how to meditate, detach from the evils of the world - but school still exists.
9. Nihilism: Though you still wonder, with a ruined school model, is all meaningless? The answer is YES! But not the kind that would stun you - the kind that needs a bit of psychology to realize.
10. Absurdism: You now realize that the conflict is between you thinking that school actually teaches you how to learn, or teaches useful information or skills, versus the school's complete inability to do so, causing lots of dissociation (esp. if you have not learned free learning yet of stuff like philosophy, psychology, etc.; check out the rest of this wiki)
11. Asceticism: You thus avoid the meaningless social struggle of even trying to praise the education system one bit, and overcome the unconscious desire to complain.
12. Dualism: Yet school keeps saying that you can just ignore the mind, and work harder and harder, until you burn out and/or sleep deprive! Like how your bodies functions isn't even up to your mental state! (Spoiler: Brain controls actions)
13. Idealism: You know better: mind is reality, your actions are dictated by mind, and with no good mind comes no good reality. The world is literally the mind, so even if school has good intentions, with terrible torture of e.g. stress from its zero-sum nature and sleep deprivation, you see through the dissonance and see the full-fledged force of fate - school is indeed a dark world. You can see that: in theory, the experience of school is as nice as in theory of what they wise elders have claimed, but in reality it is not.
14. Pragmatism: Thus you no longer have the bias of a reality that does not exist anymore - school IS the ENEMY, and you have to survive through the Enemy of the Youth without trying to deny the Enemy's Rampage or soften Your Abilities - You do what is optimal, while also taking into account what is most logical might not be the most pragmatic, as the human brain operates on heuristics
15. Antinatalism: And of course, optionally, you refuse to have kids suffer through the same kind of education system (unless it is abolished - hopefully.)
