Antinatalism

This is the main theory:
Not producing humans is neutral.
Killing humans is bad.
Creating humans is not necessarily good.
1. Blackness and absence of anything, including a missing out, no observer, no pain, no pleasure.
2. Violate the will to live, and ruin the attacker too with life without parole. Negative.
3. Just creating a body that can experience or cause pain or other shenanigans, and with its own needs and wants. It’s just biological, if parents have enough time and money.
Procreation is not necessarily a positive thing, as it brings more resource drain and suffering (possibly due to the education system). Like money and energy.

Confucianism and Antinatalism

Opposites. Societally, China really likes children to the point that policies needed to exist to stop overpopulation. Those policies also infringed on freedom, though.

Repaying parents

Do I need to repay my parents?
A core antinatalist philosophy concept. No!! I didn’t choose to be born; they chose to create me, knowing all the costs that they will have to deal with, and I have no consent to having so much money being spent on me, so why would I have to pay them back? I’m just the product of an expensive choice my parents made! Cannot be held liable for the debt of upbringing, so don’t owe anything. They were basically already willing and agreeing to pay and take care of the moment they made their decision to have a child. A rebellion against Confucianism. (However, sometimes it can help just a bit to keep the relationship stable in the future, or when they are actually struggling financially due to the imperfection of humans, even grown-up men…)

Antinatalism and Nothingness (or fear of it)

Nothingness is fine! If humans go extinct... There will be no one who can consciously experience it! So, subjectively, I think it's a good choice to live your best life, and the time spent on raising children can be spent on other beautiful stuff, like learning and content creation! Still, it is up to your choice, though.

Societal fear of antinatalism

They fear humans would go extinct. However, there is value in the freedom gained by not having children. Rather, non-existent bodies don't actually feel any pain. Full annihilation of humans... sounds scary, but it's fine? Just painlessness to a larger extent? However, if you want to have children, I'm not stopping you, provided you know the trade-offs, so go for it only if you wish!
